The Spark of Kindness Toy Giveaway started in 2011 when we were approached about taking clean, gently used toys. No other charity wanted the toys, and they were as clean as some new toys. So, we decided to give the toys to families in need that may not be able to get toys or gifts for their children otherwise. We started with the intention of giving the toys away as a one-time charity. But, after the response we received that first year, we knew that this was a needed charity in Jennings County. This Christmas will be our 14th year of giving families gifts for their children in Jennings County. We hope to continue for many more years! Please consider donating your gently used toys, new toys, or money to help support our efforts. We helped over 500 children last year receive gifts for Christmas.
